I thought that really getting down and deep with a good cleanser would unclog my pores and lead to clear skin. Of course all I ended up doing was drying up my skin which eventually led to more acne in the process. I also did an incredible amount of damage because I was so harsh with my face &#8211; not to mention the fact I was blasting my skin with various powerful creams.</p>
<p>Eventually the situation got so bad that I started to skip school and isolate myself from friends. I couldn&#8217;t stand the looks I would get even from older adults who were well-meaning. Sometimes people would give me advice out of the blue, but all it that did was highlight the fact I had serious problems on my face. I underwent a depression because it seemed like there was no solution for my particular type of acne.</p>
